Hello book lovers & avid readers!

Welcome to A New Look On Books. Yes I know, I can almost hear the groans and sighs – you are thinking “No! Not another book blog!” Sorry folks, but yes, it is another book blog! *drum roll please*

Now if you are still here… congrats! You are in for a treat. Why exactly is this blog worth your time? How does A New Look On Books stand out from the rest of those other literary based blogs? My answer: maybe it doesn’t. I can’t tell you it is different, for I have yet to view all the book based blogs out there, because there just is not enough time to do so and my computer probably would mutiny at the abuse of being online for hours at a time.  All I can ask is for you, the viewer, to give it a chance and see what happens.

Okay, so, enough of all that boring technical stuff; that some of you probably skipped over (no judgment there but it is good writing *cough cough*). Let’s talk about this blog – A New Look On Books and get to know what you, the viewer, are in store for to see.

The author of this lovely blog, me, is a graduating senior who wants to get into everything and somehow finds the time to do just that – kidding, I wish I had that kind of time.  Being a creative writing major and a certified book nerd (Is that possible?), it just made sense to finally create a blog and get my voice out there in support of a subject I’m in love with. Plus if I heard one more time about how good it would look on my resume I was going to throw a tantrum, something highly embarrassing at my age for sure.

I have no idea what I am doing but it is fun!

That being said A New Look On Books is in its infancy stage, and will be designed to (hopefully) satisfy any book lover’s needs. From book reviews, to writing advice, to author interviews, and more, A New Look On Books, is a great new blog attempting to make its way into the literary world. The blog is primarily going to feature posts from me, yours truly, but will feature guest reviewers from time to time.

Ideally posts will be bi-weekly. It really all depends on the time, a foreign and unreachable term to most college students out there; for there is never enough time. Also be on the lookout for the quote at every opening of the blog. You, the viewer, will come to notice the fact that quotes are a big inspiration to me – not only in my writing but life experiences as well. Besides who doesn’t appreciate a good quote now and again?

Please note: Just to reiterate, this blog is currently under construction, due to the fact the author of the blog is a graduating senior with a major case of senioritis and a ton of life decisions to make. It may take till late 2015, or early 2016, to really get the blog out there as its own personal entity. Please be patient!
